Myna is the follow-up release from Sydney based guitarist Michael J Brady. The track is the second single from Brady’s upcoming record, recorded in 2019 with bassist Benjamin Phipps (Strands) and drummer Cy Donkin.

Myna answers Brady’s debut release ‘Patrick’ with an ear-worm melody set to a brooding riff. Opening with a brief dialogue between Brady and Phipps, the track settles into feeling that straddles folk-tune and 60’s modal jazz. The tune then opens into an expansive solo from Brady that builds from pointillistic counterpoint to energetic chordal lines.
